Job summary

Driver Hire Portsmouth is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Moffett Driver for a Gosport-based assignment. You will operate a Class 2 vehicle equipped with a Moffett forklift and deliver insulation materials to sites in the local area.

This is a 4-week temporary role with an immediate start and potential for further Moffett work as demand rises, with a £21.00 per hour umbrella pay rate and support from a local team.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Moffett experience is essential.
• Good knowledge of safe loading, unloading and delivery procedures.
• Reliable, professional and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle equipped with a Moffett-mounted forklift.
• Delivering insulation materials to customers and sites.
• Safely operating the Moffett for loading and unloading.
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on time.
• Providing a professional and friendly service to customers.

Type: Temporary - 4-week cover

Pay Rate: £21.00 per hour (Umbrella)

Location: Gosport and surrounding areas

Start Date: 28th September 2026

We're currently looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Moffett Driver to join one of our valued customers based in Gosport, delivering insulation materials across the local area.

This is initially a 4-week temporary assignment, with excellent potential for further Moffett opportunities as we head into the colder months and demand increases.

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card
• Moffett experience is essential
