Salary: £13.84 per hour, £20.76 per hour for overtime

Working Hours: 06:30 AM to 04:30 PM

Job Description:

Are you an experienced HGV2 Driver looking for a new opportunity? We are hiring a dedicated HGV2 Driver to join our team, specialising in the collection of palletised waste from customers. This role involves operating a curtain-sided vehicle and using a Moffett for loading and unloading. If you don’t have a Moffett licence, forklift truck experience is essential, and our customer will provide Moffett training to the right person.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate an HGV2 (Category C) vehicle to collect palletised waste from various customer locations.
• Efficiently use a Moffett to load and unload palletised waste onto the vehicle.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all collections and deliveries.
• Maintain detailed records of collections and deliveries.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

• Valid HGV2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Proven experience operating a curtain-sided vehicle.
• Moffett licence preferred; candidates with forklift truck experience will be considered, with Moffett training provided.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
