Job summary

Palletforce Logistics is seeking a Class 2 Driver to deliver goods safely and efficiently in Erith. You will operate a Class 2 vehicle, maintain logs with the handheld terminal, and perform daily safety checks while providing excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months experience, a valid CPC and tachograph card, and is flexible to work weekends, with strong geography knowledge and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience: 6 months.
• Valid Digital Tachograph card.
• Completed CPC training course.
• Class 2 Driving Licence (C+E).
• Valid CPC, Digital tachographs.
• Flexibility.
• Strong logistical and geographical knowledge.
• Good communication skills.
• Multi-drop Experience Preferred
• HGV / LGV Class 2 licence with at least 12 months experience.
• Be able to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers using Class 2 vehicle.
• Record accurate information with handheld terminal.
• Occasionally drive 3.5t vehicles during peak periods.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle.
• Drive Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Inform transport office of any issues in good time.
• Ensure you arrive at your job on time.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain health and safety standards.
• Operate safely and follow road rules.
• Complete and return all paperwork to transport office.
