MOVIES AND EVENTS INDUSTRY, DRIVERS REQUIRED!

Driver Hire Uxbridge have an exciting opportunity for Experienced HGV CLASS 2 Drivers to join one of our movies and events customers based in Greenford

We are looking for reliable, flexible and experienced HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Drivers to start IMMEDIATELY!

PLEASE NOTE THESE ARE TEMP ADHOC SHIFTS SHIFTS AR NOT GUARENTEED

Monday to Friday, Start and finish times can vary (may be as early as 5am)

Class 2 Duties will include;

• Completeeasy runs from point A to B
• Safely transport event equipment and set up to large events, gigs and film sets
• You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking fuel levels, tyre pressure, and fluid levels
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

Rates of Pay for Class 2 Drivers:

• PAYE GBP17.50 to GBP20.50
• We are paying for minimum 8 hours a day
• Overtime is paid after 8 hours (breaks are not paid)

Requirements of a Class 2 Driver:

• Valid UK CAT C manual licence for at least 2 years with no more than 6 points (no DR DD TT IN or MS90 endorsements)
• Valid CPC and TACHO
• ADR qualification is desirable but not essential
• You must be over the age of 25 years for insurance purposes
• At least 1 year HGV Class 2 driving experience (references required)
• Have more than 90 days appropriate driving experience (Cat C) in the past 12 months
• Physically fit, as some jobs require lifting and shifting
• Excellent verbal and written English skills to interact with customers and team members
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
