MOVIES AND EVENTS INDUSTRY, DRIVERS REQUIRED!

Driver Hire Uxbridge have an exciting opportunity forExperienced HGV CLASS 2 Drivers to join one of our clients based in Greenford, a global leader in equipment rental for movies and events.

We are looking for reliable, flexible and experiencedHGV Class 2 (Cat C) Drivers to start IMMEDIATELY!

PLEASE NOT THESE ARE ADHOC SHIFTS - SHIFTS AR NOT GUARENTEED

Monday to Friday, Start and finish times can vary (may be as early as 5am)

Class 2 Duties will include;

• Complete easy runs from point A to B


• Safely transport event equipment and set up to large events, gigs and film sets


• You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism


• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking fuel levels, tyre pressure, and fluid levels


• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption


• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

Rates of Pay for Class 2 Drivers:

• PAYE £17.50 to £20.50


• We are paying for minimum 8 hours a day


• Overtime is paid after 8 hours (breaks are not paid)

Requirements:

• Valid UK CAT C manual licence for at least 2 years with no more than 6 points (no DR DD TT IN or MS90 endorsements)


• Valid CPC and TACHO


• ADR qualification is desirable but not essential


• You must be over the age of 25 years - for insurance purposes


• At least 1 year HGV Class 2 driving experience (references required)


• Have more than 90 days appropriate driving experience (Cat C) in the past 12 months


• Physically fit, as some jobs require lifting and shifting


• Excellent verbal and written English skills to interact with customers and team members


• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
