Job summary

GI Group is seeking a Class 2 Driver in the United Kingdom. The role involves early starts (04:00), a 40.5-hour week, and responsibilities including daily vehicle checks, loading/delivery runs, and coordinating empty bottle collections with adherence to customer site rules.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months Class 2 driving experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude.
• Valid UK Cat C (Class 2) driving licence required.
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho cards.
• A clean licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Monday to Friday
• 04:00 starts
• 40.5 hours a week
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects
• Deliver/collect company goods to/from customers/suppliers' premises (carried out in accordance with customer site regulations)
• Complete Loading/Delivery run sheet and report missed deliveries/shortages
• Co-ordinate and arrange empty chemical bottle collections from route customers.
• To sort parcels into mode, route and drop sequence
• Required to change delivery routes at short notice and complete refresher training, maintaining knowledge of a minimum of three delivery routes.
