Job summary

GXO Logistics Ltd in Doncaster is seeking an experienced Class 2 driver for a full-time, permanent role with our home delivery team. You will work 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, starting at 05:30, delivering multi-drop routes to customers with a strong focus on safety and service.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement.
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC).
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 current penalty points.
• DBS check will be required.
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements in last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver customer products on time with excellent service.
• Complete multi-drop routes efficiently while following driving laws and safety standards.
• Perform vehicle checks, report defects, and ensure loads are secured.
• Support transport and yard operations with flexibility and a commitment to Health & Safety.

Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a full-time, permanent multi drop Class 2 driver to join our home delivery team in Doncaster, DN4 5PD for our customer, Howdens.

You will be contracted to work 45 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, start time 05:30

What you’ll do on a typical day:

Safely deliver customer products on time, ensuring excellent service at every delivery

Complete multi-drop routes efficiently while adhering to all driving legislation and safety standards

Conduct vehicle checks, report defects promptly, and ensure loads are securely fastened to prevent damage

Support the wider transport and yard operations as required, demonstrating flexibility, professionalism, and a strong commitment to Health & Safety

What you need to succeed at GXO:

A full UK driving licence with category Class 2 entitlement

A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)

Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card

No more than 6 current penalty points

Successful applicant will be subject to a DBS check

No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
