Manpower UK is recruiting for a Preston client for a temporary Class 2 Driver role. After ADR training, you may progress to specialist tanker driving, delivering to premises across the region in a Class 2 vehicle.

You will operate with 42.5 guaranteed hours per week, with enhanced overtime and a performance bonus up to £1,000 every six months. Full training and PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence and Driver CPC.
• No ADR qualification required initially.
• Experience with HGV driving and tachograph rules preferred.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop gas cylinder deliveries to regional premises.

Job description

This temporary Class 2 Driver role in Preston offers £17.13 per hour with 42.5 guaranteed weekly hours and overtime paid at £25.70. Weekend hours attract the same enhanced rate, alongside a performance bonus of up to £1,000 every six months. Shift Patterns Days: Monday - Friday, around the hours of 7am - 5pm with some Saturdays in busy times. Overtime will be required.

The Role

Following ADR training, you''ll be delivering to premises across the region in a Class 2 vehicle.

Key duties include

• Multi-drop gas cylinder deliveries
• Providing excellent customer service
• Completing all deliveries safely and professionally
• Following drivers'' hours and tachograph regulations
• Maintaining high safety standards at all times

What We''re Looking For

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Driver CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of drivers'' hours regulations
• Customer-focused approach
