Job summary

Manpower UK is recruiting for a Class 2 Driver in Saxham, near Bury St Edmunds. Class 2 Driver - ADR Training Provided

Saxham, Bury St Edmunds

Looking for a new driving opportunity with long-term work, excellent pay, and the chance to gain your ADR qualification? Manpower is recruiting Class 2 Drivers on behalf of our client in Saxham. If you hold a Class 2 (Cat C) licence but do not currently have your ADR qualification, we want to hear from you. Successful candidates may be given the opportunity to complete ADR training and move into a specialist tanker driving role.

Pay & Benefits

• £18.29 per hour
• Guaranteed 42.5 hours per week
• Overtime paid at £27.44 per hour
• All weekend hours paid at £27.44 per hour
• Night shift bonus of £20 per shift
• Up to £1,000 performance bonus every 6 months

Shift Patterns

We have both day and night opportunities available:

• Days: Start times from approximately 6:00am
• Nights: Start times between 3:00pm and 6:00pm, plus £20 night allowance per shift

The Role

Following ADR training, you'll be delivering to farms and commercial premises across the region in a tanker vehicle. Key duties include:

• Multi-drop tanker deliveries
• Providing excellent customer service
• Completing all deliveries safely and professionally
• Following drivers' hours and tachograph regulations
• Maintaining high safety standards at all times

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Driver CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of drivers' hours regulations
• Customer-focused approach

Desirable:

• ADR Class 2 in Tanks
