Job summary

Driver Hire Southampton is seeking experienced and newly qualified Class 2 drivers to join our client in the wholesale sector. The role is a 12-week temp-to-perm arrangement, Monday to Friday, 6:00am–4:00pm with potential overtime and multistop deliveries to independent stores, with loading and unloading of the lorry.

Applicants must hold a UK Class 2 licence with valid CPC and Tacho card, demonstrate excellent timekeeping and customer service, and have their own transport to reach the site.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class 2 driving licence with valid CPC and Tacho card.
• Excellent time keeping and customer service skills.
• Own transport to commute to and from work due to location.
• Willingness to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Multidrop delivery of customer orders to independent stores and PFS.
• Loading and unloading the lorry.
• Operate tail lifts and pump trucks as required.
• Maintain safe and efficient delivery rounds.
