Job summary

Quest Employment is seeking a reliable delivery driver to join our road-based operations. You will load and unload goods, maintain records, and provide excellent service to customers on daily routes. The role requires a valid UK driving license, good physical fitness, and strong time management.

You will work mostly on the road with occasional warehouse days depending on business needs. The position offers a structured day schedule from early starts, with safety checks and clear communication

Qualifications

• A valid UK driving license is essential, with previous multi-drop driving preferred.
• Ability to handle physical tasks involved in loading and unloading goods.
• Strong organizational skills to manage delivery schedules and timeliness.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with customers and represent the company well.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload packages, ensuring items are delivered in good condition and meet customer requirements.
• Maintain delivery records and complete paperwork for daily deliveries.
• Provide excellent customer service and address inquiries during deliveries.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean, perform daily safety checks, and report faults.
• Serve as the communication link between customer and company and report quality issues.

RequiredSkillsandQualifications

WorkingConditions

• Hours: 7:30am – 4:30pm Monday to Thursday. 6:30am – 3:30pm on Fridays

• Environment:work is primarily conducted on the road, the odd occasion may see the candidate spend the odd day in the warehouse depending on the business needs.
