Job summary

The Best Connection in Manchester is recruiting for a Class 2 Concrete Mixer Driver on a temp-perm basis. You will operate a concrete mixer vehicle, deliver to customers and sites, and perform daily vehicle checks. A valid Cat C licence, CPC, and Tachograph Card are required, with MPQC a plus.

Typical hours are 7am start, Mon-Fri, with £16.50 per hour and time 1/2 after 10 hours. The role demands reliability, good road knowledge, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Cat C) driving licence is required.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are required.
• MPQC card preferred.
• Good knowledge of UK roads is essential.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.

Responsibilities

The Best Connection - Manchester is currently looking for a Class 2 Concrete Mixer Driver to join one of our client, a market leader in their industry, on a temp-perm placement.

Pay & Working Hours

• £16.50 an hour
• Time 1/2 after 10 hours
• Mon-Fri
• 7am start time

The role:

• Operating a concrete mixer vehicle safely and efficiently
• Delivering concrete to customers and construction sites
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
• Adhering to all relevant health & safety and driving regulations

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Cat C) driving licence
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous concrete mixer experience preferred
• MPQC card preferred
• Good knowledge of UK roads
• Reliable, punctual and professional
• Good communication and customer service skills
