Job summary

Manpower (United Kingdom) is seeking a Class 2 Driver on a temp-to-perm basis to help deliver pallets of paint to retail customers. You’ll work a consistent Monday to Friday schedule with a focus on reliability and safety, with opportunities for career progression within a logistics environment.

You’ll handle 6–10 drops per day using an electric pump truck, with minimal manual handling. Training for tail lift operation is provided and CPC/Digital Tachograph cards are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) license is required.
• Experience with multidrop deliveries is preferred.
• Ability to operate tail lift and electric pump truck safely; training is provided.
• A valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card are required.

Responsibilities

• Make 6 to 10 drops per day to shops and warehouses.
• Deliver pallets of paint to retail customers.
• Use an electric pump truck for unloading.
• All deliveries are palletized; minimal manual handling.
• Ensure PDA delivery notes are completed and up to date.

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. What you'll do on a typical day:

• On average 6 to 10 drops per day, primarily to shops and warehouses.
• Delivering pallets of paint to retail customers.
• Using an electric pump truck for unloading
• All deliveries are palletized; very little manual handling required.
• Ensuring PDA is up to date with all delivery notes completed

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) license.
• Experience with multidrop deliveries is beneficial.
• Ability to operate a tail lift and electric pump truck safely - training can be given.
• A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card.
