Job summary

The Best Connection Oxford is currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client's removals team in Wallingford. This hands-on driving role offers regular weekday hours with an immediate start and pays £16.50 per hour.

You will drive a Class 2 vehicle, assist with loading/unloading, and help relocate furniture while ensuring safe operations and delivering excellent customer service. Mon-Fri 7am-4pm, weekly pay, and access to our employee perks scheme.

Qualifications

• Valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
• Minimum 2 years' Class 2 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, IN or other major endorsements).
• Aged 21 or over for insurance purposes.
• Physically fit and happy to undertake manual handling.
• Reliable, professional and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle to transport the removals team to customer sites

• Completing runs to the local recycling centre to dispose of materials safely
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Working closely with the removals team to ensure jobs are completed efficiently

Pay & Hours

£16.50 per hour

Monday to Friday

7am - 4pm

The Role

What We're Looking For
