Job summary

3Recruit Ltd in the Tipton area is recruiting a Class 2 Driver to join our client’s operation. The role involves driving a refuse vehicle to collect bins along Birmingham-based routes, with the day starting at 12:00pm Monday to Friday and returning to the depot after completing the round.

You will need an LGV 2 licence, a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Cards; some experience with rear- or front-loading refuse vehicles is preferred but training will be provided for the right driver.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid LGV2 licence with at least 2 years' experience.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Cards required.
• Experience with rear or front-loading refuse vehicles is preferred but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Drive refuse vehicle to collect bins and empty as required.
• Return vehicle to depot after completing route.

Job description

3 Recruit Ltd are looking to recruit a Class 2 Driver for our client based in the Tipton area.

The start times for the shifts are 12:00pm Monday to Friday.

For the Class 2 positions you will need

• LGV 2 Driving Licence (Must have held for 2 years +
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Cards
• Ideally some experience driving either Rear or Front loading Refuse Vehicles although this is not absoloutely necessary as training will be provided for the right LGV 2 Driver.
• Knowledge of the Birmingham area as the majority of collections are Birmingham based.

The job involves emptying refuse bins from their clients using the vehicle to lift and empty the bins and return to its position in the yard and once your route has been completed running back into the depot.

These are long term positions with the possibility of a permanent position but that is more down to the client and your views as the driver.
