Job summary

The Best Connection Scotland is recruiting a Class 2 driver to load and deliver to homes across the Central Belt. The depot is in Darnley, with early starts and 8-hour minimum shifts. You will work in a 2-person team and may have weekend shifts. The role includes loading, delivering, unloading, and vehicle upkeep.

Applicants should have a Class 2 Licence with 2 years of experience, CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, and a good command of English. Training is paid online at home.

Qualifications

• Class 2 HGV Licence with 2 years minimum experience.
• Continuous driving for 2 years.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Excellent customer service and good level of English.

Responsibilities

• Load materials onto the vehicle.
• Deliver and unload to homes and sites.
• Carry out general upkeep of the vehicle.
• Maintain fitness for a physically demanding role.

Job description

he Best Connection Scotland are currently recruiting for our National Client who is in the market for Class 2 driver to load and deliver to homes throughout the Central Belt Area.This role runs Sunday to Saturday, Depot is based in Darnley with working hours 7am-9am starts to finish (Pd 8hrs min)

You will be part of a 2 man team and will have an experienced 2nd man with you.

Weekend shifts only available too

Basic duties will include:

• Loading materials onto vehicle
• Delivering and unloading to various sites including home delivery
• General upkeep of vehicle.
• This can be a physically demanding job so candidate must have a good level of fitness.

Requirements:

• Class 2 HGV Driving Licence with 2 YEARS min experience
• Continuous driving for 2 YEARS
• Valid Drivers CPC and Digital Tacho Card
• Documented work history
• References
• Excellent Customer service skills - Must have a good level of English
• Complete online training at home (Paid)

Benefits:

• Monday to Friday £17.50ph first 8hrs
• £26.25ph after 8hrs and Saturday
• Sun £35.00ph
