Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting a skilled Class 2 Driver for a removals role in Cambridge. The position covers local and national moves with training provided and opportunities to handle specialist projects.

You will drive LGV vehicles, assist with packing, loading, unloading, and ensure safe delivery of customers’ belongings while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Holder of a valid Class 2 Licence and Driver CPC.
• - DQC card required to operate as LGV driver.
• - At least 1 year of Class 2/LGV driving experience.
• - Clean driving licence with no more than 3 points.
• - Strong communication and customer service skills.
• - Ability to work as part of a team.
• - Physically capable of assisting with removals.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 2/LGV vehicles for domestic and commercial removals.
• - Work on local and national moves.
• - Assist with packing, loading and unloading.
• - Export wrap and protect customer belongings.
• - Dismantle/reassemble furniture when needed.
• - Deliver and collect goods safely.
• - Provide excellent customer service.
• - Handle specialist and VIP removal projects.
• - Ensure possessions are cared for and secure.
• - Collaborate within a removals team.

Interaction Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of our client, for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join their established removals team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional Class 2 Driver looking for a apermanent, well-paid rolewith a reputable company, where every day offers something different.

The Role

• Driving Class 2/LGV vehicles for domestic and commercial removals
• Working on local and national moves
• Assisting with packing, loading and unloading
• Export wrapping and protecting customers' belongings
• Dismantling and reassembling furniture where required
• Delivering and collecting customer goods safely
• Providing excellent customer service
• Working on specialist and VIP removal projects
• Ensuring customers' possessions are handled carefully and professionally
• Working as part of a close-knit removals team

Essential Requirements

• A validClass 2 Licence
• ValidDriver CPC and DQC card
• Minimum1 year's Class 2/LGV driving experience
• A clean driving licence or no more than3 points
• No unspent criminal convictions
• Good communication and customer service skills
• The ability to work as part of a team
• The physical ability to assist with removals, loading and unloading
• Flexibility to work away from home when required
• Removals experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
