Job description

Class 2 Driver Location : Southampton, Hampshire Shift : 48 hour week, based on a 25-week rolling contract. Do you have a UK Class 2 C Licence? If \"YES,\" we want to hear from you!

About the Role

As a Class 2 Driver, you will:

• Operate a rigid vehicle equipped with a tail lift to deliver bakery products to a range of retail outlets, wholesale and convenience stores across the South of England.
• Provide a high level of customer service at delivery points, engaging directly with customers to ensure delivery requirements are met and expectations are managed effectively.
• Demonstrate flexibility to accommodate early start times, safely operate tail lift equipment, and carry out manual handling of bread deliveries in line with safe working practices.
• Ensure all goods are loaded, secured, and transported correctly to prevent movement or damage, using straps, load restraint bars, and other securing equipment as required.
• Conduct comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using the company.
• 04:00hrs, you will receive an additional £7.50 per shift.

Shift & Hours

• Shift Hours : Starting between 01:00hrs and 03:30hrs, on a 25-week rolling rota, including weekends.
• Overtime : Paid at an hourly rate.
