Class 2 Driver - Multi Drop

Slough

Various shift patterns

Interaction Recruitment are looking for class 2 drivers for a large distribution company based in slough. Your main duties will be loading and offloading of pallets to hospitals, pharmacies, and chemists.

There are various shift patterns available predominately we are looking for 6:30am start driver, but we also need night drivers. Weekdays and weekends are available, pay rates vary depending on days or nights.

Job description

• Carry out daily visual maintenance checks and ensure the cleanliness of your vehicle to present a professional image
• Abide by statutory and legal requirements with relation to drivers hours and tachograph regulations
• Present tachograph for analysis as requested by depot management or statutory inspectors
• Deal with customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Be prepared to vary start times and shift patterns as required by the needs of the business usually 07:00 starts

Role requirements

• Qualifications / Experience required.
• Previous multi-drop delivery operations practical experience in a Class 2 vehicle
• Articulate, numerate and able to communicate effectively as some delivers will be hard to find. Good spoken English is a must!
• Possession of appropriate and current licenses with no more than 6 penalty points
• Good state of health and the physical ability to complete operational tasks
• Smart and personally well presented.
• Must have held a Class 2 (C) licence and full UK drivers licence for a minimum of 2 years
