Job summary

The Best Connection Group - Manchester is recruiting for a Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join a client based in Salford. The role involves multi-drop deliveries to retail stores across the Manchester area, with early starts and 8–10 hour shifts.

Key responsibilities include handballing deliveries, ensuring safety and compliance, completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork, and maintaining knowledge of UK road laws and driver hours regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Valid CPC Qualification Card.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Good knowledge of UK road laws and driver hours regulations.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries to retail stores across the Manchester area.
• 6–7 drops per shift.
• Handball deliveries off at the client.
• Ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.
• Complete vehicle checks and delivery paperwork.
• Safe and compliant operation of a Class 2 vehicle.

Pay & Working Hours

£18-19 per hour basic rate.

• Mon-Fri Shifts

05:00 - 06:00

8-10-hour shifts

Job Role

• Multi-drop deliveries to retail stores across the Manchester area

(6-7 drops)

• Handball all of the deliveries off at the client
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
• Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
• Safe and compliant operation of a Class 2 vehicle
