Job summary

The Best Connection Group – Manchester is seeking Class 2 (Category C) drivers for our client based in Salford. This established retailer offers regular work and a path to permanent employment.

Shifts run Monday to Friday with start times between 05:00 and 06:00 and typical shifts of 8 to 10 hours. This is ongoing full-time work with the potential for a permanent position within the company.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• CPC Qualification Card.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Good knowledge of UK road laws and driver hours regulations.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries to retail stores across the Manchester area (6-7 drops).
• Handball all deliveries off at the client site.
• Ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.
• Complete vehicle checks and delivery paperwork.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations.
• Operate a Class 2 vehicle safely and in compliance with regulations.

Pay & Working Hours

• £18-19 per hour basic rate.
• Mon-Fri Shifts
• Start times between 05:00 - 06:00
• Approximately 8-10-hour shifts
• Ongoing, full-time work

Job Role

• Multi-drop deliveries to retail stores across the Manchester area(6-7 drops)

• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
• Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations
• Safe and compliant operation of a Class 2 vehicle
