Job summary

The Best Connection Group - Manchester is currently recruiting Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for our client based in Salford. This is a fantastic opportunity with a well-established retailer, offering regular work and the potential for permanent placement.

Typical shifts run Mon-Fri with start times between 05:00 and 06:00, delivering 6-7 drops across Manchester while ensuring safety, accuracy, and high levels of customer service on every stop. Ongoing, full-time work driving a Class 2 vehicle.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• Valid CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Good knowledge of UK road laws and driver hours regulations

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries to retail stores across the Manchester area (6-7 drops).
• Handball all of the deliveries off at the client.
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.
• Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork.
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations.
• Safe and compliant operation of a Class 2 vehicle.

Pay & Working Hours

• £18-19 per hour basic rate.
• Mon-Fri Shifts
• Start times between 05:00 - 06:00
• Approximately 8-10-hour shifts
• Ongoing, full-time work
