Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is actively recruiting for experienced Class 2 Drivers (Category C) in Salford, Greater Manchester. This ongoing, full-time role offers a route-wide schedule with multi-drop deliveries to retail stores and a potential permanent position for the right candidate.

Pay is £19.16 per hour on Monday–Friday shifts, with start times between 05:00 and 06:00, and weekly pay. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with regular work for a well-established retailer.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
• CPC qualification card (Driver CPC).
• Digital Tachograph card is required.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries to retail stores in Manchester and surrounding areas.
• Complete ~6–7 deliveries per shift.
• Handball deliveries at customer locations.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and paperwork.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow DVSA regulations.

Class 2 Driver Responsibilities As a Class 2 HGV Driver, your duties will include: Multi-drop deliveries to retail stores throughout Manchester and surrounding areas Completing approximately 6-7 deliveries per shift Handballing deliveries at customer locations Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks Completing delivery paperwork accurately Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and efficiently Providing excellent customer service Operating a Class 2 vehicle in accordance with DVSA regulations Following Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations

Requirements To be considered for this Class 2 Driver position, you must have: Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card Digital Tachograph Card Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred Good knowledge of UK road traffic laws Understanding of Drivers' Hours Regulations Strong work ethic and reliability Excellent communication skills
