The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of our client in South Kirby for experienced Class 2 Drivers (CAT C). Shift pattern is Monday to Friday starting at 13:00, averaging around 8 hours per day with possible weekend work. Location: South Kirby, WF9.

Job type: Ongoing. Role involves waste collection from healthcare facilities, preparing the truck, operating a compaction vehicle, and making 25–60 collections per shift.

Formación

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement.
• At least 2 years of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
• In date enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Understanding of WTD legislation.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
• Willingness to learn waste management processes.
• Availability for early morning shifts and occasional weekend work.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Physical fitness to handle waste containers.

Responsabilidades

• Collecting nappy waste from various healthcare facilities.
• Prepare the small base truck for daily operations.
• Utilise a compaction vehicle for waste disposal.
• Perform local collections, wheeling bins to the back of the truck, and operating the bin pick-up mechanism.
• Use a PDA for tracking and recording collections.
• Depending on the volume, complete 25 to 60 collections during your shift.
• Maintain physical fitness, as the role involves finding and collecting the bins and at times bringing them to the lorry to lift.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the South Kirby area. We are looking for experienced Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 13:00pm start (approximately 8-hour shifts on average) with occasional weekend availability.

Pay Rate: £15.30 per hour PAYE (Mon- Fri), £15.75 per hour PAYE (Sat), £21.00 (Sun)
