Job summary

Acorn by Synergie in Newport is recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 drivers for ongoing full-time work. Shifts start at 6am, Monday to Friday, with typical 8-hour shifts and guaranteed hours.

Rates are £16.00-£21.00 per hour PAYE and £19.00-£23.00 per hour Umbrella PAYE, with weekly pay and benefits. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Class 2 drivers seeking long-term employment with a reputable local business.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Category C entitlement.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Deliver goods accurately and on time while providing excellent customer service.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
• Comply with all road transport legislation and company policies.
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach at all times.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers, Class 2 Drivers, Cat C Drivers, LGV Drivers, or Multi-Drop Drivers looking for full-time, ongoing work with competitive rates of pay, immediate starts, and the opportunity to secure long-term employment.
