Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking a reliable Class 2 Driver (HGV Class 2) for the Burnley/Pendle area on an ongoing basis. The role offers a 06:45 start, Monday to Friday shifts, and an immediate start for suitable candidates.

You will handle scheduled Class 2 duties, perform pre-shift vehicle checks, and ensure compliance with driver regulations and safety standards. Newly qualified drivers welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence held, with category C.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of driver regulations and vehicle safety.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled Class 2 driving duties in line with regulations.
• Carry out vehicle checks and daily inspections at start of shifts.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies throughout the shift.

£13.46 per hour | Monday to Friday | Ongoing Work | Immediate Start Available

Our client based in the Pendle/Burnley area is looking for a reliable Class 2 Driver to join their team on an ongoing basis.

The Role

You will be responsible for completing scheduled Class 2 driving duties while ensuring all vehicle and safety regulations are followed.

Please note, the first 15 minutes of each shift are dedicated to vehicle checks and daily inspections. Shifts are scheduled until 16:15, although most permanent members of staff typically finish around 15:00.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
