Job summary

The Best Connection - Manchester is seeking a Class 2 Concrete Mixer Driver to join a market leader on a temp-perm basis. The role involves operating a concrete mixer, delivering to customers, and performing daily vehicle checks from a 7am start, Mon-Fri.£16.50 per hour with overtime after 10 hours.

Health and safety compliance is essential. Ideal candidates have a valid Class 2 licence, CPC and Tachograph card, and good knowledge of UK roads, with reliable, punctual and professional

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Cat C) driving licence.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• MPQC card preferred.
• Previous concrete mixer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a concrete mixer vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Deliver concrete to customers and construction sites.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and on time.
• Adhere to health and safety and driving regulations.

Pay & Working Hours

• £16.50 an hour
• Time 1/2 after 10 hours
• Mon-Fri
• 7am start time

The role

• Operating a concrete mixer vehicle safely and efficiently
• Delivering concrete to customers and construction sites
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
• Adhering to all relevant health & safety and driving regulations

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Cat C) driving licence
