Job summary

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an ongoing Class 2 HGV Driver position based in Leigh, working on behalf of one of our clients. This is a great opportunity to gain further Class 2 HGV driving experience in a general haulage environment, carrying out multi-drop pallet deliveries.

You will typically work Monday to Friday with start times from 07:00 and finish around 18:30, and hours are around 10-12 per day.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (C+E/C) driving licence.
• Clean driving licence.
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience is essential.
• Driver CPC valid and up-to-date.
• Digital Tachograph (Tacho) Card valid.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop pallet deliveries as required.
• General haulage work with deliveries on a daily basis.
• Start times from approximately 07:00 with typical 10–12 hour days.
• Deliveries may be unloaded using an electric pump truck or FLT depending on site.
• Maintain professional and customer-focused approach at all times.
