Job summary

XPO Logistics is hiring a Cat C driver for Leigh depot to perform daily deliveries and installation tasks. You will work with a Driver’s Mate to install technology at customer sites and receive full training on installation and maneuvering of items.

The role offers 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a competitive rate and various training and progression opportunities. A reliable, accountable work history is essential.

Qualifications

• Cat C Licence and CPC/card required.
• Digital tachograph card and up-to-date CPC are required.
• No DD, DR or IN endorsements on your license.
• No more than 6 points on your license.
• A proven, accountable work history is expected.

Responsibilities

• You will be making deliveries to commercial and private properties daily.
• With a Driver's Mate, you will install technology at customer sites.
• You will receive full training in installing and maneuvering items.

We are currently recruiting Class 2 Drivers to join our exciting new customer contract, offering a specialist delivery and installation service, working from our Leigh depot.

In return for your hard work, we’ll offer you a fantastic rate of £14.79 per hour including allowances. You will be working 40 hours per week, covering Monday to Friday. What You’ll Do On a Typical Day

• You will be making deliveries to both commercial and private properties on a daily basis
• With a Drivers Mate, you will be delivering and installing technology into our customers sites
• You will receive full training in installing and manoeuvring the customer’s items.

What You Need To Succeed At XPO

• No more than 6 points on your license
• A valid Cat C Licence
• Up to date CPC and digital tachograph card
