Job summary

GXO South Normanton is seeking a Class 2 Driver for a full-time, permanent role with a 50-hour week and early start times from 4:00 am. You will handle multidrop deliveries across retail stores and distribution points in the UK, ensuring safe, timely arrivals and maintaining top-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• EU driving licence with C+E entitlement and ADR tanks (except 1 and 7).
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card valid for UK operations.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no restricted endorsements within the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Multidrop deliveries to retail stores and distribution points.
• Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods with excellent customer service at every drop.
• Maintain high standards of customer service during all deliveries.
• Communicate with the transport office regarding delays, issues or changes.
• Perform vehicle checks and keep accurate delivery records.
• Occasional warehouse duties as needed.

Job description

• Carry out Multidrop deliveries to retail stores and distribution points
• Ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods, providing excellent customer service at every drop
• Maintaining a high standard of customer service during all deliveries
• Communicate effectively with the transport office regarding any delays, issues, or changes during journeys
• Perform vehicle checks and keeping accurate delivery records
• Performing occasional warehouse duties as needed
  A full EU driving licence with category C+E entitlement
• ADR licence with tanks. All classes except 1 and 7 required
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
• Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
