Job summary

XPO TRANSPORT SOLUTIONS UK LIMITED in Bury St Edmunds is seeking full-time Class 2 Day Drivers to join our team. You’ll start on a Wagon and explore future career paths in management, sales, warehousing, and more as you take the first step into a growing logistics career.

You’ll work on day shifts delivering to commercial and residential sites with multi-drop routes. A Cat C licence is required, full training provided, and overtime is paid at an enhanced rate.

Qualifications

• Cat C Licence (with no more than 6 penalty points or DD DR TT IN endorsement codes)
• Previous experience would be great, although full training can be given
• Working at customers sites delivering complex deliveries

We're looking for full-time, permanent Class 2 Day Drivers to join us at our site in Bury St Edmunds. Your journey may start off on a Wagon, but a whole new career could be in front of you from Management, Sales, Warehousing, and more, it just takes the first step!

Whether you're an experienced driver or newly qualified, we'd love to hear from you.

You'll be supporting us with our network operation, working on the day shift. The roles are multi-drop delivering business and commercial supplies to customers at various locations. You will be working weekdays only. In return for your hard work, we'll offer you a competitive rate of £16.05 with overtime at an enhanced rate. In addition, we offer 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 27 days with 4 years service, plus all our great benefits including ongoing learning with the XPO University, Pension, free uniform and great savings and benefits.

What you'll do on a typical day

• Making deliveries to commercial and residential properties and sites to a specified room
• Multidrop across several different locations
• Operating a Cat C Vehicle
• You will be a variety of different products
• Full manual handling training will be given

What you need to succeed at XPO
