Job summary

GXO Logistics in the United Kingdom is seeking a full-time Class 2 driver to join our shared user team in Rotherham. The role involves multi-drop deliveries and completing pre-use vehicle checks. You will handle paperwork accurately and provide face-to-face customer service to our customers.

Here atGXO Logistics, we are looking for a full-time, permanentClass 2 driverto join our shared user team in Rotherham. The role will include multidrop routes.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Completing pre-use vehicle check daily.
• Accurately completing any transport related paperwork
• Responsible for the accurate, timely movement of multi drop deliveries to our customers.

• Providing excellent face to face customer service to customers

• Complying with all relevant legislation in line with Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive requirements.

• Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others

• A flexible approach to working start times as dictated by the needs of the business

• Support operational tasks as required.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A full UK driving license with category Class 2 entitlement
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
• Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous experience driving Class 2 vehicles is essential
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years

• The successful applicant will be required to complete and pass a driving assessment before an offer of employment is made.
