Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment are seeking Class 2 Drivers for routes in Runcorn to support a leading DIY and homeware retailer. This is a full-time role with regular shifts and immediate starts on offer.

As a professional driver, you will operate a Class 2 vehicle, perform multi-drop deliveries up to 20 stops per day, and work within a two-person crew, ensuring accurate vehicle checks and paperwork are completed.

Qualifications

• Must have Class 2 driving licence.
• At least 12 months experience driving commercially.
• UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card are required.
• Our client may accept up to 6 points but not DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.
• Ensure compliance with WTD regulations and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle for home deliveries.
• Perform multi-drop deliveries (up to 20 drops per day).
• Work in a two-person crew to complete deliveries.
• Carry out vehicle checks and complete paperwork as required.

Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for Class 2 Drivers in Runcorn to work with our client, who is the UK's leading Logistics & Distribution organisations for a leading DIY and homeware retailer.

As this is a customer facing role, we are looking for people who are clean and tidy and have the ability to deal with different types of people.

About you:

You must have your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.

As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations and maintain your own compliance requirements.

You must be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs or relocation) and have the relevant Right To Work documentation.
