Job summary

Barker Ross are recruiting for experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our client's busy operation in Daventry. This Monday to Friday role offers start times around 5:00am–6:00am, with multi-drop deliveries and local or distance routes. You will unload with a pump truck and tail lift and represent Barker Ross in a professional customer-facing capacity.

Immediate starts available and no assessment required. We provide ongoing support from the Barker Ross team throughout your assignment.

Qualifications

Valid HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence.
Minimum 6 months' HGV Class 2 driving experience.
Maximum 6 points on your licence.
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph.
Reliable and punctual.
Good customer service skills.
Comfortable with multi-drop deliveries and manual unloading.

Responsibilities

Monday to Friday operation.
Start times between 5:00am and 6:00am.
Multi-drop deliveries – up to 6 drops per day.
Routes can be local or distance, depending on the daily schedule.
Deliveries will vary from day to day.
Vehicles are boxed vehicles.
Unloading using a pump truck and tail lift.
Customer-facing role, so good communication and professional presentation are essential.
Immediate starts available.
