Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking an experienced 7.5T Delivery Driver to join our team in Sherburn, LS25 6JH. This full-time role involves delivering products to warehouses and stores, with a 50-hour week from Monday to Friday starting at 06:00.

You will operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle, ensure safe driving, and maintain accurate records. Benefits include pension, holidays, and access to employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driving licence with 7.5T entitlement.
• Must have a valid Driver Qualification Card.
• Must have a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 current penalty points.
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle in full compliance with road traffic laws, vehicle regulations, and company procedures.
• Deliver products to high street stores and warehouses, ensuring accurate handling, secure transportation, and timely delivery.
• This is a physically demanding role, duties including lifting, loading, unloading, and handballing stock.
• Provide excellent customer service while collecting and accurately recording product returns.
• Complete vehicle safety checks, maintain tachograph records, report defects, and ensure vehicle and stock security.

What youll do on a typical day:

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A full UK driving licence with category 7.5T entitlement
• A valid Driver Qualification Card

• Excellent Time management skills and comfortable in working to deadlines, excellent communication and customer service skills are essential
