About the role

As a multi-drop Class 2 Driver for Matthew Clark, you will deliver orders to customers’ premises alongside a Driver's Mate, ensuring deliveries are made safely, on time, and in full.

This is a full-time, permanent position.

Shifts: Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work during peak periods such as Christmas and major sporting events.

You will be responsible for delivering products within a designated geographical area from the depot, with assistance from a Driver's Mate.

Excellent customer service is essential. Every delivery should be made with care, friendliness, and punctuality.

Applications will only be considered if you have at least 3 years of driving experience and are willing to undergo DVLA license checks.

Typical working day:

• Undertake vehicle inspection checks
• Ensure customer orders are secured and correctly packaged for delivery
• Coordinate with your Driver’s Mate to review the running sheet and customer orders
• Inform customers of any delays or issues
• Assist with unloading orders at customer premises
• Collect and return empty kegs and pallets, ensuring proper handling and storage
• Adhere to health and safety procedures
• Complete paperwork, EPOD tasks, and administrative duties
• Communicate with Transport Management regarding vehicle issues or delays
• Comply with Tachograph legislation

About you

You have over three years of driving experience, including at least 12 months of Class 2 driving, and hold a valid HGV license with CPC certification. You excel in customer service, possess strong communication skills, and are familiar with the local road network. While multi-drop experience is preferred, adaptability and the ability to handle various delivery scenarios are important.
