Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment are seeking Class 2 Drivers in Runcorn to work with our client, a leading DIY and homeware retailer. You will operate a Class 2 vehicle in a two-person crew, delivering to customer homes and performing vehicle checks and paperwork.

Candidates must hold a UK Class 2 licence, DCPC and Digi-tacho cards, with at least 12 months driving experience. The role offers full-time hours, regular shifts and weekly pay, with immediate starts.

Qualifications

• You must have your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially.
• You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.
• Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle.
• Multi-drop Deliveries.
• Working in a 2 person crew.
• Delivering to Customer Homes.
• Up to 20 drops a day.
• Vehicle checks and the usual paperwork.
• As this is a customer facing role, we are looking for people who are clean and tidy and have the ability to deal with different types of people.
