Job summary

Pure Staff Driving in Manchester is seeking an experienced Class 2 Day Driver for ongoing shifts within a leading fresh produce and wholesale distribution operation. The role offers regular work, modern fleet, and competitive hourly rates with holiday pay options.

Typical shifts are Monday to Friday with early start times, multi-drop deliveries across local and nationwide routes, and opportunities to progress to permanent roles.

Qualifications

Valid UK Class 2 (LGV C) Licence.
Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
Digital Tachograph Card.
Good geographical knowledge.
Professional and customer-focused approach.
Strong communication skills.
Previous Class 2 multi-drop experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

Completing approximately 10-12 deliveries and collections per shift.
Delivering to stores and customer locations.
Operating tail lift equipment safely.
Completing PODs and delivery paperwork accurately.
Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
Ensuring deliveries are completed efficiently and professionally.
Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations.
Maintaining compliance with all transport and driving regulations.
