Job summary

Contract Personnel Limited in Norfolk is recruiting a Class 2 Concrete Mixer Driver to join a long-standing family-run business.

Main duties include positioning the mixer under the plant, loading, and delivering ready-mixed concrete to sites and domestic addresses across Norfolk. The role may involve up to 5 deliveries per day during busy periods.

Permanent after a 12-week Temp-to-Perm qualifying period, with Monday to Friday hours and a 6:45am start.

Qualifications

• A valid driving licence with Category C entitlement.
• A valid Driver CPC qualification card.
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• A good understanding of Road Traffic Laws.
• A reliable and professional approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Position the mixer lorry accurately under the plant to be loaded.
• Deliver ready-mixed concrete to building sites and domestic addresses across Norfolk.
• During busy periods, you may make up to 5 deliveries per day.

Job description

Contract Personnel are recruiting for aClass 2 Concrete Mixer Driverto join a local, family-run business that has been established in Norfolk for over 25 years and is a leader in its industry.

PreviousCat C driving experienceis essential, but a Cat C driver with no previous experience operating a mixer lorry will be considered, as full training will be provided.

The successful candidate will be responsible forpostioning the lorry accurately under the plant ready to be loaded and delivering ready-mixed concreteto various building sites and domestic addresses throughout Norfolk. During busy periods, you could be expected to make up to 5 deliveries per day.

This is apermanent, full-time positionfollowing the successful completion of an initial 12-week Temp-to-Perm qualifying period.

Start time: 6:45am
