Job summary

The NWH Group is seeking a Class 2 HGV Skip Driver to join our Scotland operations. You will safely operate skip lift vehicles on routes, load and transport skips and containers, and perform daily safety checks while maintaining logs and delivering excellent customer service at handover points.

Applicants must hold a valid Class 2 HGV licence with CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, with no more than six points. Training, uniform and PPE are provided, with opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 HGV licence with no more than 6 points.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card held.
• Experience in waste/recycling driving is preferred but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating skip lift vehicles on scheduled routes.
• Loading, unloading, and transporting skips and containers.
• Conducting daily safety and vehicle checks; keeping vehicle logs updated.
• Following road safety laws and company policies at all times.
• Delivering excellent customer service at collection/delivery points.
