Job summary

Driver Hire Portsmouth is recruiting an HGV Class 2 Cage Driver for a Fareham-based client on a temporary-to-permanent basis. Immediate start on set routes delivering wholesale food, drink and catering supplies.

You will operate Class 2 vehicles, with training provided for cage delivery operations; CPC/Tacho requirements apply, and a smooth transition with driver mates support on start. The role offers an hourly rate of £18.50 and potential permanent opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (HGV) license.
• Valid CPC card and Tacho Card.
• 1 year of HGV driving experience.
• Cage delivery experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 2 vehicles for cage deliveries to convenience stores.
• Ensure safe loading, transportation, and unloading of goods using cages.
• Complete multi-drop deliveries in a timely and professional manner.
