Job summary

Gregory Group in Shepton Mallet is seeking a Class 2 Driver for collections and deliveries. You will operate curtain side/tail lift vehicles for multi-drop pallet deliveries around the Southwest, ensuring loads are secured and compliant with safety standards.

Daily vehicle safety checks, close communication with the transport team, and ongoing training form part of the role, with an emphasis on reliable, customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Must hold UK Class 2 C licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Confident, polite and a team player.
• Good geographical knowledge.
• Fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Make multi-drop pallet deliveries to businesses around the Southwest using a curtain side/tail lift vehicle.

Class 2 Driver - Collections & Delivery

Location: Pallet Networks, Shepton Mallet.

Shift: Monday to Friday including an occasional Saturday. Rota is roughly 1 in 10.

About The Role

• Use a curtain side/tail lift vehicle to make multi drop palletised deliveries to business around the Southwest.
• Ensure goods are loaded and secured legally and safely.
• Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone.
• Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.

Essential Skills And Qualifications
