Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd in Cranbrook is seeking a Class 2 ADR Tanker Driver for multi-drop fuel deliveries to farms and commercial sites. The role is temporary and days-based with a 42.5-hour week on a 5-on, 2-off rota, with starts near 6am.

You will be paid £19.41 per hour, with overtime at £29.12 and a £7.75 London weighting per shift, plus performance bonuses up to £1,000 every six months. 28 days' holiday and paid weekends apply.

Qualifications

• Valid Cat C driving licence required.
• Digi card and DCPC/ADR tanker licence (Class 2) essential; training available for drivers without ADR.
• Familiarity with drivers' hours legislation and tachographs.
• DBS check required.

Job description

As a Class 2 ADR Tanker Driver based in Cranbrook, you will undertake multi-drop deliveries of fuel to farms and commercial sites, representing our client professionally.

This temporary, days-based role offers a guaranteed 42.5 hours weekly across a five-on, two-off rota, with starts near 6am.

You will receive £19.41 per hour, rising to £29.12 for overtime and weekend shifts, plus a £7.75 daily London weighting and performance bonuses up to £1,000 every six months.

Competitive Pay: Earn £19.41 per hour, guaranteed 42.5 hours per week, overtime rates of £29.12 Weekends paid at £29.12 Rates are PAYE, 28 days holiday per year which increase with length of service.

London Weighting Bonus: £7.75 per shift Yearly Bonuses: Earn up to £1000 every 6 months Flexible Shifts: 5 on 2 off shift patterns starting at around 6am. All weekend shifts paid at overtime

Requirements

• Valid Cat C driving licence, Digi card, DCPC card ADR licence in class 2 in tanks - Some Training is available for drivers without their ADR
• Familiarity with drivers'' hours legislation and tachographs.
• Successful candidates require a DBS check.

New / inexperienced drivers who hold the relevant truck / HGV licences are welcome to apply.

The role is due to start in September and will run until around the end of April 2027 (weather dependant).

For insurance purposes, you must have relevant HGV experience, should have no more than 6 points on your licence, and no DD or DR convictions in the last year.
