Job summary

Driver Hire Peterborough are seeking Class 2 (Cat C) ADR drivers for the Peterborough area to deliver LPG gas cylinders. This role involves multi-drop deliveries and a customer-facing position requiring a strong safety mindset.

You must hold a valid Class 2 licence, ADR Tanks or Packaged Goods, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, with good knowledge of drivers hours and tachograph regulations. Previous HGV driving experience preferred; temp-to-perm opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Class 2 (Cat C) licence holder with ADR knowledge.
• ADR Tanks or Packaged Goods qualification.
• Driver CPC valid and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience with HGV driving and tachograph rules.

Responsibilities

The role:

• Class 2 (Cat C) driving
• Multi-drop deliveries
• Delivery of LPG gas cylinders
• Customer-facing role
• Regular work available and temp-to-perm for the right candidate

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence
• Valid ADR Vocational Training Certificate
• ADR qualification covering Tanks or Packaged Goods
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations
• Strong safety awareness and a responsible approach to handling hazardous goods
• Previous HGV driving experience
