Job summary

Driver Hire York & Harrogate is seeking an ADR driver for an ongoing agency placement in Selby. The role includes one night out per week and requires a Full Cat C licence, Driver CPC, and ADR Class 9 Packages.

You will be paid weekly via PAYE with a minimum of 8 hours per day, plus holiday pay and referral bonuses. Training and PPE provided; night out Tuesdays apply.

Qualifications

• Full Cat C licence (Class 2) is mandatory along with a valid Driver CPC and a Digital Tachograph Card.
• ADR licence Class 9 Packages is required for handling hazardous goods.
• Night out on Tuesday is expected as part of the shift pattern.
• A good level of physical capability is essential for lifting and handling loads.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and transport goods to client sites while complying with ADR and tachograph regulations.
• Strap down stock safely and secure loads prior to transit.
• Maintain PPE and licences when arriving on site and during duties.
• Be available for a night out once a week as part of shift requirements.

Job description

We have an ADR driving opportunity for the right candidate with an immediate start ongoing through agency for a few months. This will be an ongoing position for our client based in Selby and includes 1 night out week.

Requirements:

• A Full Cat C licence (Class 2)
• A valid Driver CPC
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• A valid ADR licence Class 9 Packages
• Able to night out every Tuesday.
• A good level of physical capability
• Drivers need to strap down stock safely
• Drivers need to arrive on site with appropriate PPE and licences
• Speeding is monitored

The successful HGV driver can expect:

• prompt PAYE payment weekly
