Job summary

Connect Appointments is recruiting a HGV Class 1 ADR Driver for ongoing night shift work with an established logistics business based in Newton-le-Willows.

Our client operates a busy trunking operation covering Northampton, Falkirk, the West Midlands, Bradford and Cumbria, running curtainsider double deck and straight frame trailers with no manual handling involved.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with at least 1 year’s driving experience.
• Valid ADR licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
• No more than 6 points on licence with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsements

Responsibilities

• Night shift driving for ongoing temporary position.
• Trunking across Northampton, Falkirk, the West Midlands, Bradford and Cumbria.
• Operate curtainsider double deck and straight frame trailers with no manual handling involved.

What’s on offer?

• Ongoing temporary position
• Monday to Friday, 7pm starts
• Shifts averaging 10 to 12 hours per shift
• Paid weekly at £21.85 per hour

To be considered as a HGV Class 1 ADR Driver, you will need:

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with a minimum of 1 year’s driving experience
• A valid ADR licence is essential
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
• No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsement codes
