Job description

We are currently looking for an experienced Class 2 ADR driver for our customer based in the OL16 postcode. This role is on a 13-week temporary-to-permanent basis.

What we are looking for:

1. Category C entitlement.
2. Full & Valid CPC.
3. Full & Valid Digi card.
4. Full and Valid ADR Card.
5. No more than 6 points on your license.
6. At least 1 year of Class 2 experience (ideally 2).
7. Excellent communication skills.
8. ADR experience (Packaging).
9. Experience with tail lifts, curtain side vehicles, pump trucks - manual & electric.
10. Good local knowledge of the road network.
11. Pallet experience would be beneficial.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

1. Driving company vehicle responsibly and safely, obeying all traffic laws.
2. Deliveries to commercial and private addresses.
3. Pallet collections.
4. Carrying out daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance.
5. Completing paperwork accurately as instructed.
6. Dealing with customers politely.

Once permanent with the customer (after 13 weeks):

1. Salary is £34,945 PA, paid monthly.
2. Contracted hours are based on an average of 50 hours per week, with start times typically between 06:00 and 08:00.
3. Bonus scheme split into 3 remits of £1,000 each.
