Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking a HGV Class 2 ADR Driver for a Brinsworth-based role with continuous training and a site induction. The position is temporary (ongoing) on a full-time basis, with a weekend rota in a 7-day operation.

You may work at other sites occasionally, with hotel and travel covered when overnight stays are required. You will perform multi-drop duties (15–20 drops daily), adhere to strict health and safety guidelines, and deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid ADR licence with classification 2 (in packages).
• HGV entitlement for a minimum of 3 years.
• Licence must not exceed 6 points and must not include CU80, DD, IN10 or DR10 endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop 15–20 drops per day delivering gas cylinders to customers.
• Adhere to Health & Safety operations as directed by the client.

Job description

An exciting opportunity for an HGV Class 2 ADR Driver to work for one of the most prestigious companies based in Brinsworth. The company offer continuous work-related training which in most cases count towards driver CPC modules.

The company is the largest supplier of industrial gases and related equipment in the United Kingdom.

As the HGV Class 2 ADR Driver your duties will include: Multi dropping approximately 15-20 drops per day delivering gas cylinders to customers in around the area. Adhering to strict Health & Safety operations as directed by the client. Providing outstanding customer service.

Candidates will attend a driving assessment & interview process with the client prior to selection, if successful you will receive full paid site induction and one-to-one training on-site ahead of undertaking your normal duties.

This is a temporary (ongoing) position on a full-time basis, including an occasional weekend rota as this is 7 day a week operation. While this position is mostly based out of their Brinsworth depot, there will also be a requirement to support at other sites to cover sickness and holidays. In these instances, overnight stays may be required, but hotel and travel expenses will be covered.

To be successful as an HGV Class 2 ADR Drivers you will have the following skills and experience:

• A valid ADR licence with classification 2 (in packages) is essential;
• Have held the HGV entitlement for a minimum of 3 years, for insurance purposes;
• Driving licence must not exceed 6 points or include CU80, DD, IN10 or DR10 endorsements, for insurance purposes;
