Job summary

Gi Group UK is seeking a Class 2 driver for early-morning shifts. The role involves 3-hour initial starts with Tuesday to Saturday work, performing 2–6 drops per shift and loading/unloading using a pallet truck, delivering to large shopping centres.

Applicants must hold a valid UK Class 2 licence with at least 2 years’ experience, CPCV and tachograph, and have good customer service. Penalty points capped at 6. Company benefits start from day one.

Qualifications

• In date CPCV and tachograph
• Previous multi-drop experience preferred
• Well presented and good customer service essential

Job description

Class 2 pay rate

• Monday to Friday £18.50 including holiday pay (PAYE only no umbrellas)
• Saturday £20 including holiday pay (PAYE only no umbrellas)

Shifts

• 03:00-06:00 starts
• Tuesday to Saturday

Class 2 key Duties

• 2-6 drops per shift
• Loading and unloading using pallet truck (the pallets are not heavy)
• Store deliveries to large shopping centres
• 10-12 hours average shift length

Requirements

• In date, UK, class 2 licence 2 year's experience minimum
• In date CPCV and tacho
• Previous multi drop experience is preferred
• Well presented and good customer service essential
• Willingness to load and unload using pallet truck
• No more than 6 penalty points (SP only, no other endorsements accepted)
