Job summary

Amazon Inc. in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 tramper driver to join our logistics team. You'll operate high-quality trucks (under 5 years old) and move goods between stations, with a focus on safe, reliable driving.

You will be away 4 nights per week (4 days/5 nights), with no loading or unloading duties as these are handled by the depot. Various shifts available to fit personal preferences.

Qualifications

• C+E (Class 1) driving license with fewer than 6 penalty points.
• Fluency in English language preferred.
• Willingness to spend up to four nights away from home per week.
• Experience driving high-quality trucks (under 5 years old) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be away 4 nights / 5 days a week.
• Transport goods between stations.
• No loading / unloading; company handles it.
• Maintain reliable and safe driving with trailers.

HGV CLASS 1 TRAMPER DRIVER £42k-£45k inclusive of all Allowances

Are you interested in HGV Class 1 Tramper driving in a company that offers high quality trucks ( We transport exclusively for a global player in e-commerce industry.

• 42k-£45k inclusive of all Allowances
• ~ Various shifts available: Tuesday - Saturday, Sunday - Thursday, Monday - Friday
• C+E (Class 1) Driving License (required) with less than 6 penalty points
• Fluency in English Language (preferred)
• You are enthusiastic about the opportunity for extended trips, spending up to four nights away from home per week (mandatory).
• Consistent work with 5 consecutive shifts
• Minimum 11hrs daily rest between each of the 5 shifts per week
• Superb on road experience due to driving high quality trucks which are less than 5 years old (extra comforts in the trucks included)
• Company cell phone with app for route viewing
• Shift start and end at home location
• Enjoy the perk of no loading or unloading responsibilities, allowing for a streamlined and focused driving experience
• Your tasks/role as a truck driver:
• As a tramper driver you will be away for 4 nights/ 5 days a week
• Transport goods from station to station
• No loading / unloading expected, we will do that for you!
• Reliable and safe driving with careful handling of the vehicles and trailers
